the girl code, starring youtube's best and brightest women

the girl code, starring youtube’s best and brightest women

Last week several of YouTube’s best and brightest got together for another super-sized collaboration about the rules all female best friends follow, referred to as girl code.  iiSuperwomanii who is known for her excellent collabs, Jenna Marbles the undisputed QUEEN of YouTube, Hannah Hart of My Drunk Kitchen, Mamrie Hart of You Deserve a Drink drunken fame, Miranda Sings the singer, model, dancer, actress, magician, craft-master, and Grace Helbig join forces in the video, and the besties reign supreme as the center of attention at a crowded party.  How do they achieve the obvious fame and keep all the men interested and the other ladies jealous?  By following The Girl Code, obviously.

The Girl Code rules are simple but ESSENTIAL to maintaining a perfect relationship, so ladies take note.  The girls break the code down into simple, easy to follow rules and go out of their way to explain any possible exceptions.  Rules include letting your girl know if her ex shows up and making sure to remind your friend that they are clearly better than any replacements (replacement=second place), not always being the drunken slob (unless its your birthday we are friends not babysitters), always including absent friends so they don’t feel left out, and possibly most important RESPECTING YOUR SONG.

Your song represents the bond of your sisterhood, and it ALWAYS needs to be recognized when you hear it, preferably with a tightly choreographed dance number.  These best friends happen to connect with Miranda Sings stomper about her many boy toys, Where My Baes At, and they absolutely run the dance floor, snatch a few weaves, and serve it old school once it comes on at the party.  Check out Miranda’s original video for the track HERE after you watch these besties explain the girl code BELOW!Continue reading
