Is Giorgio Moroder getting ready to release a “Tron” soundtrack? After listening to his new release we have to say possibly…
It is safe to say that 2015 has been a productive year for Giorgio Moroder, and it sounds like 2016 is going to be just as action packed. This year saw the disco-pioneering producer make his glorious return to music with the release of Deja Vu. Featuring fresh collaborations with established and rising vocalists, the album proved that Moroder was still at the peak of his craft and opened doors to a new set of opportunities.
After months of enjoying the fruits of his labor with the likes of Britney Spears (one of our top twenty favorite singles of 2015), Kylie Minogue, Charlie XCX, and Sia, it seems that Moroder is officially turning his attention to a new project. On December 23 Moroder posted a new track on his SoundCloud titled “Run Program.”
Shared as a “holiday gift” to his fans “Run Program” is drastically different than anything we heard on Deja Vu. While his most recent album treads lightly across delectable synth and disco roots, “Run Program” descends into dangerously dark territory.
A racing beat and heavy synth set the scene for the hugely atmospheric track. A chorus of distorted vocals and mechanical sounds add a further sense of intrigue and action to the project. It sounds almost as though the release could be played during a major action scene in a film or video game, and that might indeed be the case…

Seems like Harry Styles is taking advantage of One Direction’s official break by pursuing some solo releases…
After a headline heavy year and some changes in the lineup One Direction is preparing to take a well earned break, but it seems like some of the boys will satisfy our need for new music in 2016! By now we all know that former member Zayn Malik is planning to make his solo debut in the new year, but now it seems he’ll be sharing the limelight with none other than Harry Styles!
Earlier this week super sleuths realized that Styles registered four new songs with the performance rights organization ASCAP under his own name. You may assume that these tracks were written for One Direction; however, it is worth noting that all of Styles’s previous work for the band has been registered under the One-D moniker.
Basically, this solo venture may be really real…

5 Seconds of Summer almost show peen (again for some) and come off a little douchey in their new Rolling Stone feature… Not a good look for the pop-punk group.
Pop-punk rockers 5 Seconds of Summer are very nude and very close to revealing the full monty on the January cover of Rolling Stone magazine. The feature is clearly more revealing than just about anything the boys have pulled off in the past, but the accompanying interview is stirring up some controversy.
In the interview the Aussie born and bred rockers are presented as hungover party rockers, and they seem to enjoy it…
