They’ve got them candles hanging from the ceiling, and they’re ready to cause a commotion (neighbors be damned)! Pop icon Britney Spears recruits Tinashe for her Glory-ious second single “Slumber Party.”
After months of anticipation, Britney Spears has finally announced “Slumber Party” as the second single from her pop opus Glory. She’s also revealed that pop up-and-comer Tinashe would be joining in on the festivities on the seductive track.
Looks like it will be clawfoot baths filled with bubbles for two now…
Better yet, Spears also revealed that she had wrapped up a day on set for the single’s official music video! Sharing a photo alongside the “Ride of Your Life” crooner, Spears wrote “neighbors say we’re causing a commotion.”
Tinashe, a self-identifying fan of all things Spears, shared the same photo with a slightly different caption. “The face you make when the rumors are true and you collated with your idol & basically your whole life is a dream so you keep it cute for Brit but inside you are winless and dead,” she wrote. That about sums it up…

Spears also confirmed that the pair were working with director Colin Tilley on the shoot. Tilley has directed projects for the likes of Nicki Minaj (“Anaconda”) and Rita Ora (“Body On Me.”) This year he was responsible for Fergie’s celeb-studded “M.I.L.F. $” shoot, so it’s safe to say that we can expect big things from the video!
It’s unclear when “Slumber Party” will see an official release to radio; however, it’s safe to assume that it will follow shortly. Better yet is the possibility for a live performance featuring the two pop songstresses. With the American Music Awards coming up later this month, it’s possible that Spears and Tinashe will be slithering across the stage on national TV!
If that’s the case, what are the chances that we can get a “Slumber Party” “Company” mash-up? Not to be needy, but… that would surely slay!
